Prime Engineering Inc. is a civil engineering firm with a focus on transportation engineering. PEI's engineers provide services for projects at Departments of Transportation, County Governments, Transportation Authorities and similar public organizations primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region.

PEI routinely plays a supporting role as a teaming partner to many well-known engineering and construction firms for bridge design, highway & roadway design, and structural design involving retaining walls, mast lighting, and other transportation-related structures. PEI also plays a supporting role in construction inspection/construction management for bridge and transportation projects.

PEI's business is based on a 17-year history of delivering high quality civil engineering services as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and a small disadvantaged business. It has grown very rapidly from a one-person office in 2004 to a multi-office business with over 45 transportation engineering professionals today.

The firm currently has offices in Baltimore, Maryland and York, Pennsylvania.
